I stayed at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omnihotels.com\/hotels\/bretton-woods-mount-washington\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Omni Mount Washington Resort<\/a><\/strong> in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. I had a wonderful time and I want to share my entire experience with you!! I highly recommend taking a weekend to enjoy the snowy activities in Bretton Woods! Also &#8211; if you have children, the Omni Resort is <em>extremely<\/em> family friendly. If you are looking for a family vacation, I can&#8217;t stress enough how perfect this resort is for you! Below, you will find the rundown of my glorious winter wonderland trip! I usually consider myself a tropics gal\u00a0but I LOVED my weekend in the mountains. Participants, ages 2 and up, are given the opportunity to meet and pet the sled dogs (many of which are rescue and second chance), help harness and hitch their team and even help drive the sled (at musher discretion for guests and dog safety). The entire tour lasted around two hours &#8211; half of the time is spent playing with the dogs and the remaining portion is dedicated to the sledding tour, in the picturesque forest. Upon our arrival, we met all the dogs and played with them. Shortly after, we met our musher (the guide) and we learned how to harness the dogs and leash them. Every dog at the kennel, upon seeing the leashes come out, started howling and barking&#8230;almost as in saying, &#8220;pick me!!!!&#8221; These dogs LOVE to run and they all made sure that we heard them \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Once the dogs were all set up, my boyfriend and I bundled up into the sled, covered in multiple sleeping bags and blankets (we were very warm). Our musher let the dogs know we were about to begin and once he whistled&#8230;we were off!! These babies go quite fast!! 10 MPH might not sound quick but when you are in a wooden sled&#8230;it feels speedy!<\/p>\n<p>I cannot say enough about how much I loved this experience. The dogs were absolutely adorable and they were <em>extremely<\/em> well taken care of. The Muddy Paw Dog Kennel rescues dogs that were previously mistreated. Each dog I met was smiling and genuinely seemed to love his\/her life.
