Must-See Spots in Annecy, France<\/h4>\n

As you may have seen on Instagram, every week we are featuring a different destination for “Travel Tuesday” so that we can share some of our favorite places we’ve traveled to, as well as provide you all with a little travel guide to each destination. Last week, Katie took us to Capri, Italy… you can find her guide by clicking here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week, Molly is taking us to Annecy, France.<\/p>\n

As a francophile who has spent a lot of time working & living in France, I felt it was only appropriate for my first “Travel Tuesday” post to feature a city in\u00a0le plus beau pays du monde.\"map<\/i><\/p>\n

While I was living in France last year, I was lucky enough to travel to some of the country’s\u00a0most beautiful places. Last January, my friend and I visited Annecy, a charming little city located in the southeastern region of France, known as the Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region.\u00a0Lying just 20 miles south of Geneva, Switzerland, Annecy is nicknamed \u201cthe Pearl of the French Alps.\u201d<\/p>\n

While I didn’t spend a very long time in Annecy, it really stole my heart! Its small enough that you can conquer a lot of it in just a day or two, but also big enough that you could spend a week roaming the little canals and marveling at the snow-covered mountains. In this guide, I wanted to highlight a few of my favorite spots\u00a0in Annecy to show\u00a0why it should be on your list to visit during your next trip to France!<\/p>\n

Jardins de l’Europe<\/h4>\n

Spend some time roaming throughout les Jardins de l’Europe (Gardens of Europe<\/em>). You will find both locals and tourists – old and young alike – out & about, enjoying the crisp air that swirls through the city of Annecy.<\/p>\n

Lac d’Annecy<\/h4>\n

Now take a deep breath of that fresh air, because these views of Lac d’Annecy (Lake Annecy<\/em>) are absolutely breathtaking.\u00a0The sun dances off the crystal clear water and\u00a0the snow-capped mountains surround you. I could never get sick of this view!<\/p>\n

Le Pont des Amours<\/h4>\n

It is said that couples who kiss on Le Pont des Amours (the Lovers Bridge<\/em>) will be together forever! It is also a perfect spot to snap a selfie.<\/p>\n
