We spent a little over two weeks in Greece &amp; France &#8211; dreamy, take me back!! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our wedding was on a Saturday and we flew out on Tuesday&#8230;the perfect amount of time to relax after the wedding before embarking on another adventure. I recommend using google flights to find the quickest\/cheapest flight. You view a calendar with each day showing different prices\/flight times. Here you\u2019ll find&nbsp;gorgeous sandy beaches, a thriving nightlife scene, lots of shopping, delicious restaurants and a charming downtown meant for exploring. We spent four days here checking out the best of what the island had to offer and truly had the best time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Mykonos, you could spend all day lounging at one of the island\u2019s famous private beach clubs and then hit the town for drinks then dinner. Not to mention the shopping is amazing!! We visited towards the end of the season so all the little boutiques were having major sales (I got a pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals for $75 &#8211; originally $350!!!) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mykonos is great because you have the option of relaxing by the beach or wandering the adorable streets in town. We noticed many couples on their honeymoon and groups of friends on vacay. We flew to London then had a quick layover until we boarded our flight to Mykonos. It was so painless and I highly recommend finding when there is a 1-stop flight from your area. Once we arrived in Mykonos, our hotel sent a shuttle pick us up\u2013 definitely recommend coordinating this through your hotel\u2019s concierge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-pink-color has-text-color has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">WHERE TO STAY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bill-coo-hotel.com\/\">Bill &amp; Coo <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We stayed at Bill &amp; Coo, a Leading Hotel of the World + a 5-minute walk to town! If you&#8217;re visiting Mykonos, I highly recommend staying here! It is close enough to town you can walk but you are also secluded for rest + relaxation. I love staying at boutique hotels because the attention to detail is incredible and everyone is so warm &#8211; they want your stay to be PERFECT! The majority of the island\u2019s best restaurants and bars can be found in Mykonos Town. Lots of the island\u2019s hotels have places to eat too, but we just found Little Venice so unbelievably charming that we decided to have dinner at a different restaurant in town every night of our trip. Here are my recommendations + a few more spots that we would\u2019ve liked to try if we\u2019d had more time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>+ Caprice Bar-<\/strong>&nbsp;The perfect cocktail bar to post up at and watch the sunset in Little Venice! It\u2019s in a prime position right along the water and has the best view of the ocean and windmills. You MUST get a cocktail here and sit and let the waves crash right below you!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>+ Avra &#8211;<\/strong> Located in a small courtyard, lit with candlelight and covered in greenery and flowers. It is ultra-romantic and the food was insane!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>+ Kastro\u2019s-<\/strong>&nbsp;Make sure to request the outdoor table directly next to the water!!!! We had one of our best and dreamiest meals of our trip here. Delicious Greek cuisine and seafood in the most beautiful peaceful setting again the water. wp-block-heading\"><strong>SPEND THE DAY AT A BEACH CLUB<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mykonos is widely known for its beautiful sandy shores and luxury beach clubs! You absolutely need to spend at least one day posted up at a beach club. How it works is you make a reservation similar to how you would at a restaurant, except you\u2019re reserving a personal cabana or beach chair. The spot will be yours for the day to enjoy as much sand and sea as you please. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clubs all have restaurants so you can order lunch and drinks to your chair + listen to music! There are a lot of beach clubs on Mykonos \u2013 some are more relaxed and bohemian, others are known for house music and partying. We visited towards the end of the season so the only beach club open on my list was Buddha Bar. Scorpios is located on it\u2019s own secluded beach and cliff overlooking the ocean. It\u2019s completely detached from any other clubs or hotels and is a great place if you really want to relax while being waited on hand and foot. While Scorpios is known for getting pretty poppin\u2019 at night, the vibes could not be more chill during the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>+ Alemagou-<\/strong>&nbsp; We were unable to visit Alemagou but we heard the vibes were SO RIGHT! Next time we are in Mykonos, we definitely will hit up this spot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">EXPLORE LITTLE VENICE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Within Mykonos Town you\u2019ll find the historic Little Venice\u2013 just head towards the water or windmills and you\u2019ll be sure to hit it! Here you\u2019ll find the most picturesque whitewashed lanes and narrow alleyways, storefronts covered in pink bougainvillea and quaint cafes with outdoor seating. It\u2019s the perfect place to get lost and wander! Similar to Santorini, Mykonos has absolutely incredible sunsets. Three of our four nights in Mykonos we watched it from a different bar or restaurant along the water in Little Venice. I highly recommend grabbing a spot at a table at least 30 mins before sunset begins because it can get crowded! Yes, people do come to Mykonos to let loose, but that all happens at beach clubs away from the main town. If you decide not to partake it\u2019s not like it\u2019s still going to be in your face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Most hotels are located outside of town.<\/strong>&nbsp;There are only a handful of small boutique hotels in town that are walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Definitely stay at Bill &amp; Coo &#8211; it is so close to town and far enough away to relax at the pool\/beach without the hustle &amp; bustle!
